These terms outline how Skoglar works for guests and hosts, ensuring a fair, transparent, and reliable platform for everyone who uses our services.

Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to Skoglar. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, services, and platform. By using Skoglar, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms of Use, you should not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

Skoglar provides an online platform that connects guests with hosts offering accommodation experiences. You agree to use the platform responsibly and only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access systems or data without authorization.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of Skoglar, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities that occur under your account. Skoglar is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account credentials.

4. Bookings and Payments

All bookings made through Skoglar are subject to availability and confirmation. Prices, availability, and booking conditions are determined by hosts and displayed on the platform. Payments must be made through approved payment methods, and Skoglar may use third-party payment providers to process transactions securely. Skoglar does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listings but works to ensure a trustworthy experience for all users.

5. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about their listings. This includes pricing, availability, house rules, and legal compliance. Hosts must ensure that their accommodations meet applicable safety and regulatory standards. Skoglar reserves the right to suspend or remove listings that violate platform rules or applicable laws.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to respect host properties, follow house rules, and communicate honestly. Any damage caused during a stay may be the responsibility of the guest, subject to the host’s policies and applicable laws. Guests should carefully review listing details before confirming a booking.

Skoglar provides the platform on an “as is” basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skoglar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including issues related to bookings, listings, or third-party services.

9. Termination

Skoglar reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform if a user violates these Terms of Use, applicable laws, or platform policies. Users may also close their accounts at any time by contacting support, subject to any outstanding obligations.
